The reality TV world just got a whole lot messier. Amanda Conner, wife of Teen Mom alum Ryan Edwards, was arrested on May 24 and booked on DUI charges, along with child abuse and neglect allegations that paint a troubling picture of what unfolded that day in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

According to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, Edwards himself called police because he suspected his wife had been using narcotics. When she refused to submit to a drug test, she allegedly left with their baby in the car—and that’s when things escalated. Conner was charged not only with driving under the influence, but also with driving on the wrong side of the road with a minor in the vehicle. Her bond was set at $16,000, and if released, she’ll be prohibited from contacting the alleged child victim. Her court hearing is scheduled for June 3.

This isn’t Conner’s first brush with the law. According to People, she has pleaded guilty to several charges dating back to 2010, including a previous DUI and possession of a controlled substance in 2023. For Edwards, this marks yet another chapter in what’s become a lengthy legal saga—a timeline that stretches back years and includes his own run-ins with the system.

The timing couldn’t be worse for Edwards’marriage. He and Conner tied the knot just two weeks after his divorce from Mackenzie Standifer was finalized in 2025, following their 2017 wedding. The couple shares daughter Presley, born in February 2025, and earlier this year they were forced to deny split rumors after Conner posted cryptic messages on Instagram. Back in January, she pushed back against speculation, insisting that she and Edwards were solid except for the usual household friction. Now, with a court date looming and serious charges on the table, those denials feel like ancient history.

Edwards rose to fame alongside Maci Bookout on Teen Mom OG, with whom he shares son Bentley, now 17. He also has two other children with Standifer—Jagger, 7, and Stella, 6. What was once a tabloid story about reality TV personalities navigating parenthood has transformed into something darker and more concerning, with a child’s wellbeing hanging in the balance.
