In a bizarre twist of road rage, Army veteran Joe Vallely found himself unwittingly at the center of a heated incident in Vallejo, California. On a regular Monday drive along the waterfront, the father of two was simply obeying the speed limit when another driver, clearly unhappy with his punctuality, decided to express her displeasure in an extreme way.

As Vallely drove on a one-lane road, the other driver maneuvered sharply in front of him when the road opened up and slammed on her brakes. Before he could even comprehend what was happening, she hopped out of her car and pepper-sprayed him, all without warning! Vallely managed to escape the chaos and reached a nearby store for assistance to wash out his eyes.

Vallejo police are on the case, believing they’ve identified the pepper-spraying aggressor, plans to hand the case off to the Solano County District Attorney’s office. It raises a serious question: what on earth possesses someone to explode with such rage over a simple drive? Let’s hope for calmer roads ahead—before someone reaches for their spray again!
