This isn’t Andrew’s first brush with law enforcement. He was arrested in February as part of an ongoing probe into possible misconduct in public office tied to his long association with Jeffrey Epstein, the financier who died by suicide in 2019. But these new allegations suggest the scope of scrutiny widening beyond that original investigation.

The timing speaks volumes. The Epstein Files, released last year, flooded the public domain with documents that placed Andrew squarely in the center of controversy. Photographs emerged showing him in deeply compromising positions, including several chilling images where he’s pictured kneeling over a woman lying on the floor. King Charles III clearly made his position clear. After the files went public, the monarch stripped Andrew of his royal titles and evicted him from the Royal Lodge in Windsor—a decisive move that severed what remained of his royal standing. Thames Valley Police have reached out to the woman’s lawyers, pledging to handle her claims with care, sensitivity, and respect for her privacy and right to anonymity. It’s a measured approach designed to encourage her participation.
