Stockton Businesses Step Up: Fundraisers Unite Community After Tragic Shooting

In the wake of a heartbreaking mass shooting at a children’s birthday party in Stockton, local businesses are coming together to provide much-needed support to the affected families. The tragic incident left three children and a young adult dead, igniting a wave of compassion throughout the community.

One significant initiative involves Baskin-Robbins at Normandy Village, which plans to donate 30% of its sales on December 6 and 7 to the family of Maya Lupian, the eight-year-old victim. This sweet gesture is just one of many ways the community is rallying to support those grieving.

Boxer Gabriel Flores Jr. is also getting involved, encouraging fans to buy tickets for his upcoming fight on December 13, with proceeds going to the victims’families. Every ticket purchase through his team will help support those affected by the violence, showcasing his commitment to his hometown.

Additionally, the California College of Barbering and Cosmetology is organizing a “Cuts for a Cause” fundraiser on December 14, where haircuts will be offered for just ten dollars, with all proceeds going to families in need. Lost Dreams Tattoo and Piercing is running their own fundraising event on December 20 and 21, donating all proceeds from their tattoo and piercing services. Community spirit is alive and well in Stockton, proving that even after tragedy, there’s strength in unity and love.
