NBA Star Miles Bridges Seeks Court Order for Ex's Psych Eval

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Bridges is asking a judge to order Johnson to undergo a comprehensive psychological evaluation. His reasoning? He claims she’s developed an“obsessive fixation”on his new girlfriend, Shara, and has been engaging in increasingly erratic behavior over the past couple of months. The pair share four kids and have had a temporary custody and support arrangement in place since 2023.

In his filing, Bridges alleges that Johnson initiates prolonged, emotionally charged communications during late-night and early-morning hours—behavior he argues shows she’s prioritizing personal grievances over the children’s needs. He included messages as evidence, including one where Johnson accused him of lying about his relationship with Shara, saying,“you lied&said you never wasn’t dating Shara when whole summer you were not together&you wanted her out multiple times&tried to.”

Things took a darker turn when Bridges claimed Johnson threatened to disseminate intimate information about him—allegations Johnson has denied. Earlier this month, Bridges obtained a temporary restraining order against Johnson after accusing her of cyberstalking. In the petition, he also alleged that Johnson showed up to one of his NBA games and appeared to attempt tampering with his vehicle’s tires while he played.

This case illustrates the collision between celebrity, custody disputes, and the very real fallout when exes can’t move forward.
