Sometimes the biggest life decisions come with a little nudge—or in Tristan Thompson’s case, a full-on ultimatum from his ex.

During the Thursday, May 28 episode of her podcast“Khloé in Wonder Land,”Khloé Kardashian, 41, revealed that she played a pivotal role in the NBA player’s choice to undergo a vasectomy. When the 35-year-old discussed his future family plans on the show, he made it clear: any additional children would need to come from Kardashian’s embryos, since he’s already fathered kids with multiple partners. Thompson’s reasoning was refreshingly blunt—”I already have enough baby moms. I don’t want no more. More than enough.”That’s when Kardashian chimed in with the real story:“That was me. Tristan might have had a little ultimatum from me.”

Thompson didn’t shy away from acknowledging his initial resistance. He admitted he’s been“a little hardheaded at times”and has always been an“experienced learner”who learns from experience rather than being told what to do.
